URL QR code
A URL code is the plain one: someone scans it and their camera opens the page. Use it on a poster, a menu, a packing slip, or a slide when typing a long address would lose people.
example.com or a full https:// link
Logo overlay (optional)
From this device. Embeds will not include it. Error correction switches to H.
Enter a web address.
Paste the address, including https if you have it. If you leave the scheme off, QR Board prefixes https:// so phones open a browser instead of searching. The preview is live. Download a PNG for print or an SVG if you will scale the mark in a layout.
We do not wrap the destination in a tracker, so you cannot change the URL after it is printed. To put the same code on another site, copy the embed snippet from the generator.
Questions
- Should the URL start with https?
- Yes when you can. If you type example.com, this tool adds https:// before encoding. Custom schemes such as mailto: also work if you paste them in full.
- Will this count clicks?
- No. The code points at the address you entered. There is no redirect service and no scan log in this MVP.
- Can I put a logo in the middle?
- Yes. Upload an image or paste a public image URL. Error correction switches to H so scanners can still recover the data. The logo is not included in the embed snippet.
