Text QR code

A text code carries whatever you type, with no special URL or contact wrapper. Use it for a door code, a one-time passphrase, a short instruction, or a line you want people to copy rather than visit.

Logo overlay (optional)

From this device. Embeds will not include it. Error correction switches to H.

Enter some text to encode.

Shorter is better. A paragraph still fits, but the modules get small and cheap cameras struggle, especially with a logo in the middle. If the content is a website, Wi-Fi, or a contact, switch to those types so phones offer the right action.

Download PNG for a sticker, SVG for a vector layout. If you copy an embed snippet, the text is in that code, so do not put secrets in a public embed.

Questions

Is there a length limit?
QR capacity depends on error correction. If the library cannot encode the text, the preview will say so. Shorten the copy or drop the logo.
Will the phone open a website if I paste a URL here?
Some cameras detect a URL in plain text. For a reliable open-in-browser action, use the URL type.
Can I encode line breaks?
Yes. They are stored as part of the text. How a scanner displays them depends on the app.
